Our Coconut Water is produced in Thai province of Chanthaburi. Coconuts ripen for about seven months before they are processed into KULAU coconut water. Intensive sunlight, regular warm tropical precipitation and soil rich in minerals guarantee healthy growth of coconut palms and specifically tender fragrance.
Our coconut palms grow in a mixed culture together with other plants, which can be found in their natural environment. They are grown without application of artificial manure, vegetable poisons and genetic manipulation. The only manure used in trenching are the leaves of the coconut palms.
The controlled and certified plantations provide farmers with high quality coconuts for almost 20 years. Coconut farmers, oil millers care for high product quality with ambition and professional participation. All members of the production chain – from farmers to quality controllers – enjoy high respect of our company. This is how new friendships emerge and general quality of life grows.
When the coconuts reach the optimal ripeness they are harvested by hand using a special coconut collector, which is similar to an apple collector, and immediately processed. Our production facilities are equipped with the most modern machinery, needed for cautious processing of our products. The standards of our facilities are regularly inspected and certified by independent controllers.
No preservatives or the like are added to coconut water. All KULAU products are 100% natural. KULAU organic coconut oil is filled in glasses directly after the first cold extraction. Then it is shipped to Germany with a minimal harm to environment.
According to a research of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety on the topic of sustainability management in enterprises, the choice of suppliers and materials has an enormous influence on environment. We are conscious about this responsibility and actively support our suppliers in their use of nature-friendly technologies and materials.
